How does GaitScan™ work?

The GaitScan™ system, featuring TOG Client Software, is an advanced diagnostic tool that analyses the biomechanics of the feet. With 4,096 sensors and a scan rate of 300Hz (frames per second), it leads the industry in dynamic scanning capabilities.

What does this mean for you?

This dynamic scan captures over a million data points, providing detailed insight into your child’s gait cycle—far beyond what can be seen with the naked eye. It helps identify minor biomechanical issues that, if left untreated, may develop into painful conditions later in life.

GaitScan™ also serves as a valuable educational and clinical tool, offering clear, visual data that supports the assessment and communication of the need for orthotic therapy or other interventions.

What conditions do we treat?

  • Flat feet

  • Heel pain (Sever’s Disease)

  • Knee pain (Osgood-Schlatter disease)

  • Growing pains

  • In-toeing / pigeon-toed walking

  • Ingrown toenails
